Family archive Rombaut, Melsele
Over de familie en voorouders van mijn grootmoeder aan moeder's kant weten we relatief weinig. Grootmoeder werd in Melsele (-Waas) geboren en groeide er op. Waar zij op school liep is niet bekend. Ze huwde grootvader in 1920 en woonde ca 2 jaar in Bottelare. Na WO I had grootvader daar een baan als koster/orgelist. Zijn vader had hetzelfde beroep in Kallo, waar grootvader ook geboren werd.
